They guarantee their work for 3 years or 60,000 miles and are part of a nation wide network if something goes wrong while your transmission is still under warranty. I have a mini van from the years of bad transmissions and they rebuilt the transmission to make sure that the parts that break all the time were not replaced with more of the same (this is transmission #4 on my 1990, it is now 2009 and the van has 149,000 miles on it at this point, the other transmissions were dealt with elsewhere, not this place. This transmission is still working perfectly 2.5 years later which is great considering that two transmissions lasted just over a year each before needing major repairs. Very nice, polite people who are honest.

We purchased a 2001 Honda Odyssey in 2009 knowing that the series of years had potential transmission issues. When the car started flashing the code common to transmission failures I called several shops including Palouse Country Transmission who had worked on my car in college. Not only did they have one of the best prices but they knew what the problem is and could fully describe what the problem likely was, the root cause and the fix. Unfortunately it required a complete transmission rebuild. They gave us a loaner van to use for a few days while the work was being done and performed the work in a timely manner. They even took pictures of the failures for me to discuss on a Honda Odyssey owners board. The new transmission is now about 40k miles into the rebuild and works great and shifts smoothly. I've had the van back to them for transmission fluid replacements on regular intervals and to check on things. They even repaired a small gasket leak from the transmission about a year after the rebuild for no charge. This shop has become my default go-to shop for any car work that I can't do myself.
