Well, I think Mickey chose Asian Automotive as his garage name so that it would show up in the first column of the Automobile Repair and Service section of the yellow pages...he may well be the guy to see if you've got an Asian auto, but I've only taken my Volvos to him. I trust him implicitly. He's a great mechanic who loves what he's doing, and he's fair and honest. He treats me with respect and humor, and he tells me the truth. His shop is clean, his employees are pleasant and efficient, and his prices are fair. I'm not taking any of my cars anywhere else.

Hands down the best place I've ever taken my vehicle to. Friendly, Honest, Knowledgeable, and fair. Took my car in for major service once and when I came back they'd gotten so carried away they even washed my car for me.

Mickey is the man. I was sold the very first time. Brought my car into the garage, put it up on the jack. I came back into the garage (didn't know that was legal anymore) and he showed me exactly what was going on with the car, and chatted with me about car stuff and racing while he worked on the car. All-knowing about Nissans, he had seen my problem before about a hundred times. Explained everything he was doing and how I could do some basic maintenance myself. Extremely friendly and personable. I've never gone anywhere else when I could help it for my Nissan, Acura, and Volvo. The scheduler (female) who answers the phone is very very friendly and they are more than willing to do what needs to be done to help you out; pick you up, drop you off, whatever. They are right in front of a bus stop, if that's what you prefer, though they are a bit hard to find, off the road a bit. They use higher-than-usual quality parts and aren't particularly cheap, probably average for per-hour labor charges. But I've never had anything break again after they fixed it, they've never gone over the quote they give me the first time (they're usually a bit under) and the customer service is a little hard to believe. I just had $900 worth of A/C work done on my Acura, and I actually feel pretty good about it, just knowing that Mickey and his guys did the work. That says a lot. My wife is a bit of a car guy and the guys in the shop have always treated her like she wasn't a moron and was capable of understanding what was going on with the car. Never patronizing or sneaky with her. She loves them too. Best mechanic in Savannah.
