I used another garage and they recommended the replacement of very expensive parts using the shot gun approach. I expected to pay $$$ to have the intermittend stalling problem fixed, they investigated and located the problem quickly. The mechanic repaired the car and test drove it, something the other garage did not do. The cost was under $100. I am a very happy customer!

We had parked our car in our garage when we went on a week's vacation. When we came back, the Volvo v70 had the check engine light on. Phil hooked it up to the computer and it showed some problem with the fuel pressure. He pointed us to Volvo since they had a recall on something related. His basic take was - I don't want you to spend money if Volvo will fix it for free. After many frustrating hours at the local Volvo dealership, I brought it back to Phil who took the fuel line apart and discovered that rats had built a condo around the fuel line and were using the hose for a between meal snack. He proved himself forever with us for his reluctance to spend our money unless all other, cheaper options were exhausted. Phil and his buddies at Professional are now firmly established in my list of trusted auto guys. Oh, they also do a great job on my 95 Honda Accord.
