I have been using pac solely as my honda mechanics for over14 years. I like the way I am treated, the way they explain repairs and problems, and I think they are honest. I still miss Russell at the front desk, but John is very good at that position also. For a short while they had a guy, Nick, who was awful. But they got rid of him.

I had a problem with my 1993 Isuzu Pickup truck. A mechanical friend had advised me that the throttle plate was stuck open and the truck needed a carburetor rebuild. PAC took care of this for me and did the job correctly. They were not condescending at all to me (I'm female) and treated me very fairly. The front desk was a pleasure to work with and they called me every couple days to advise me of the status. The rebuild took two weeks because two extra parts had to be ordered (older model truck) and that took a while. The repairs themselves went very quickly and they charged me less for labor than my friend advised me to expect. I highly recommend this shop for any Japanese vehicles -- it's the only place in town my friend trusts and now it's the only place in town I trust. They ain't cheap, but good mechanics never are. Don't judge a shop by its prices.

These guys are really good at working on my Honda(2), Mazda (1), and Toyota (2) (which is the extent of my vehicle experiences with them). They are NOT cheap, but I've not had to go back to fix something they did, nor do I have any complaint with their customer service. They always follow up to see if we (my wife and I) are satisfied. They are not located in a real good area yet it is not too bad. I don't hesitate to recommend them.

Worst experience I have ever had at a shop! Terrible service and incompetent staff. I would rather walk around town than get my car fixed there again.

Based on this site's reviews, I actually had two other shops lined up to try first, but some friends in town said PAC (pronounced 'pack') immediately and unequivocally. I showed up with my 'code' riddled Element about 9:15 AM and they started work immediately. They had the issues diagnosed by 10:30, the part delivered by 11 and I was eating lunch elsewhere before noon. Carl, the owner, chatted me up the whole time. The shop and waiting room were very nice and clean. The bill was $400, which I feel was just about right.

Just be sure if your car is old, say going on 20 years, that you realize they will not install used parts.
