Jim Lovallo owns the shop. He is very honest and is very patient with single women (like me) who hear a noise and swear to god the front end is gonna break off going down the interstate! Honest, friendly, and very timely. Never had to find alternate way of getting home at the end of the day. They shuttle me to work in the morning and come get me at the end of the day. Primo dude to let handle oil changes.....if repair is too big of a job for him, he recommends someone who can handle them. WAY TO GO JIM!!!

I am a long time customer of Pioneer Brake and Auto. It has always been a great shop even since before Jim Lovano bought it from the Nugent brothers. Now it is owned by some other folks who may have only worked there previously. My first and what will be my last business with them has been very unpleasant. My truck had a leak which they said was the radiator and quoted me a very high price. I haggled and got it down a hundred dollars. The next day, after the work was finished they called to say it still leaked because the water pump needed replacing. I was very upset and told them they needed to fix the problem I consulted them for completely for the price quoted. They say they are going to fix it but I don't trust them anymore and will not be going back with my three late model vehicles. Don't you have to take off the radiator to even get to the water pump? They should have known what was causing fluid to leak out of the vehicle. They have lost my trust and I threatened a lawsuit.

What a great job these guys did explaining what my truck actually needed compared to the list of services that a local lube shop said I need. Was told I needed my brake fluid flushed along with other fluids in my truck. They checked the fluid and stated it was a little dirty but flushing the fluid could wait until I replaced the brake pads since the fluid gets replaced then.Glad I found these guys.I will be getting all of my vehicles repaired there from now on.
