For your automobile's electric needs, Jerry's Auto Electric is a place I highly recommend. I've only used them twice over the past 20 years, but each experience was the best. Yesterday my Lexus had symptoms of a bad battery. Took it to Sears to be checked out. Sears said the battery was OK, but that the alternator ($502.00) would have to be replaced. Upon questioning, I was getting non-responsive answers from the Sears technician so I decided to get a second opinion. Went to Jerry's Auto Electric, told them the problem, he hooked up the machines in my presence, told me the battery was OK although it was low on charge, said the alternator appeared to be testing Ok, check the battery connections, found a loose one, cleaned and tightened it, charged me $5.00 and sent me on my way. He could have sold me an alternator, but was honest and thorough enough to go through the basics first. Something Sears didn't do. I had the same situation 20 years ago with a similar result. Good place to do business with.
