I have been going to this shop for over 15 years. I have bought tires for 4 different cars. But when I can, I work on my own car. Last summer I did the front brakes. In January, I had Delaware Tire Center do the rear brakes. After 4 months the brakes starting squealing and inspection showed they were wearing unevenly. I can see right through the rims, so I did not need to remove the wheel. I took it back and was told "someone" had wiped the grease off the brake pads. I suggested maybe they forgot, but was told they never make mistakes. When I pointed out the irregular wear, I was told the brakes were "two-tone". Then they said the problem was the front brakes. They said calipers were seized and the front wheels would not spin. They told me I needed a $515 brake job immediately; the car was dangerous. I took the car home and removed the wheels to inspect the front brakes. The front brakes were fine. The calipers were not seized. Furthermore, one of the rear wheels was frozen on the rotor, so I know they didn't inspect that one. I will NEVER go back. They tried to scare me into paying $515 for an UNNECESSARY repair!
