They are nice and very honest. I went to a dealership and was told that I needed a $500 a/c repair. When I finally saved up the money, I brought it to them instead. They found a broken fan in the vent system and charged me about $70 (mostly labor). They could have taken me for 500 bucks and I wouldn't have had any idea. They have worked on my cars for a few years and both me and my husband have bought cars there and had autobody work done. I would highly recommend them!

I don't know how they handle their screw-ups; I've never experienced any with them. I do know that a few years ago a customer broke down in New York state and the owner drove a flatbed out, picked up vehicle & owner & repaired vehicle for no charge.

I had taken my car to Moore's after another garage had told me that I needed to have my brakes done (they had told me they were 90% worn). When I took it to Moore's, they checked my brakes, saw they were only about 50% worn, and told me I didn't need my brakes replaced. They even cleaned my rear breaks and didn't charge me for it. Gary and gang are my heroes of the day.

You won't find a more honest auto repair shop anywhere in New England (and perhaps the country). They don't do work that isn't necessary and their prices are very fair. Here's an example: we own two 1998 Camry's and as luck would have it, the timing belts on both of them went about a week apart. The first one we took to an Ellington shop and the second one we took to Moore's Automotive. Moore's charged us almost $200 less for their work - and both cars have had no problems since the work was done. They just refurbished their waiting room and it is very nice, they are very polite to customers and are just plain nice folks!

Great place to bring your car. Mike, Tim, everyone I have met are great guys. Totally honest, down to earth guys. Clean, friendly garage, certified mechanics who all know their stuff. My wife also loves Moores Automotive. They have been so nice to both of us. Rarely, have I ever spoken highly of a garage, this one is different. Five star rating on all accounts. Would reccommend to everyone.

I must review as a sort of apology because Tim helped me make some decisions about my broken down SAAB when I was far from home. He did not actually repair my car because where the car was located down the road matched his price and it was an easy repair, but he spent quality time and gave quality advice and quoted me fair prices for the job. My car has broken down before on a long distance trip in this area, so I guess I hope I get a chance to actually use his services!

I purchased a 2008 Toyota Highlander from them. They let you test the drive the car by yourself. Give all the time you need. Never any presure to buy. They put new tires and brakesand whipper blades. The alarm was going off so I took it back to them and they fixed and to my surprise the test the battery told me it failed and installed a new one no charge. Is you are looking to buy a a used car I would see them first before you go anywhere else.
