JOHN'S IS A STANDUP AUTO REPAIR SHOP. NO AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIANS WEARING LATEX GLOVES TO KEEP THEIR HANDS CLEAN - JUST GOOD SOLID MECHANICS WHO ACTUALLY SEEM TO LIKE WHAT THEY DO FOR A LIVING, AND IT SHOWS. THERE IS NO SERVICE DESK WHERE YOUR GIVEN A CARDBOARD NUMBER TO HANG FROM YOU MIRROR SO THEY CAN FIND YOUR CAR AFTER IT SAT IN THE "PRE SERVICE" LOT FOR TWO HOURS, OR AFTER THE LAST JELLY DOUGHNUT WAS EATEN, WHICH EVER COMES FIRST. JOHNS IS A REPAIR SHOP THAT WORKS HARD TO MAKE SURE THE JOB IS DONE RIGHT, FOR A FAIR PRICE AND WITHIN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME. ON THE RARE OCASSSION THAT I'VE HAD TO BRING THE CAR BACK FOR THE SAME PROBLEM, JOHN WILL ALWAYS WORK TO FIX THE PROBLEM QUICKLY ( IT'S USUALLY A DEFECTIVE PART). HE'S CUSTOMER FOCUSED AND STANDS BEHIND HIS WORK. BASICALLY, THESE GUYS ARE FAIR, HONEST AND FRIENDLY.

John's is short on 'fluff', but has plenty of honest work done quickly and at a reasonable price. I'm usually leery about sending my wife to discuss car problems with an auto shop mechanic (as my schedule sometimes requires). But with John's, I feel confident that they will be honest with her and not attempt to take advantage of her lack of car knowledge. It's a good, honest shop.

John and team have worked on every kind of vehicle for our family. From Class A motorhome, to Alfa Romeos. Also Subarus and Corvette. We've got a buncha cars in our family. They are unbelievably honest. No unncessary repairs ever. Ask for John (the owner) and he takes your call; no problem. Always have offered me a ride to work. Their driver, Harold, tells the most amazing WW2 war stories. Also, great tolerance for "do it yourselfers." not the usual disdain you get from other garages.

Great prices, great work and they take the time to explain what is wrong... can't ask for more than that.

Ask for Herb. He is friendly, easy to talk to, and takes the time to explain the problem. I called and they found the time to fit me in the same day. He is also honest - he recommended against an expensive repair based on the age of my vehicle and how long I planned to keep driving it. They are also kind to their loyal customers. My car was making a scraping noise, I brought it in and they correctly diagnosed it as the dust guards for my brakes being rotted through. They cut them off and greased my door hinges (which I asked them to do) which took about 30-45 min and did not charge me anything for the work. I highly recommend them.
