Really....does it matter if a mechanic is christian or from another planet? Long's garage has nice people who seem to be honestand respectful. I think sometimes the prices are a little high, but not terribly and it might be worth it in the grander scheme of things. They sometimes have offered me a loaner car, too!

This mechanic is a Christian and works to the highest standards of his faith and profession. He takes pride in the honest operation of his business. I have three Cars that he works on, A Jeep Grand Cherokee that I drive, a Ford Windstar that my wife drives and a Pontiac Sunbird that my son drives. I started to take my autos to him after another mechanic whose shop I will not name told me that my Sunbird was beyond repair and quoted me an outragrous price to fix it. He then tried to sell me another car. Don Long fixed the Sunbird at a reasonable price and it is still running strong. I have had no problems with the repairs that have been done on the cars and have never had to take something back a second time to have it fixed.

When Longs was located in Bristol they were close to where I lived. I heard it was an honest shop that did great work, so I started going there for repairs on 3 family vehicles. Over the years, I have been so pleased that even though they have recently moved the shop to Canton, I still go there for service. Its a load off my mind that I can go to a mechanic that I can trust. Even though it is not a huge shop, I am always impressed by their expertise.

Don is GREAT! My dad took his cars here and now we take our cars for any service. They are always fair and honest.(Is it worth it?) They back their work and will not do unneeded work. They know that cars are expensive and work with their customers to do the best work inexpensively. I trust them with my cars and ultimately with my family.
