Maztech is a friendly and easy place to work with. I have known them for 6 years would recommend them to both my family and friends.

I started going to Maztech when I had a Mazda and I'm still going to them with my Ford Explorer, although they are in the next town. I continue to go because they always keep to schedules and I have never had any cause to question anything they have done or charged. Perfect example of their service. Recently I dropped off my truck at appointed time but the parts supplier had delivered the wrong part. they immediately called me, we discussed options, they forced the supplier to make an immediate delivery from Denver and managed to have the truck ready EXACTLY at the new time we agreed to. Now that is service.

Karen, on the phones, is highly knowledgeable, cheerful and helpful, which is amazing all by itself! The owner, Chuck, was a large part of my overall experience, direct, honest and friendly, he pointed out some major problems with my Grande Wagoneer that could prove disasterous in the near future. When I informed him that I had gotten a good price on the car only two weeks before, he said that the owner had accounted for this tremendous oil leak problem and that it would be worth it to, over time, ascertain the origin of the leak(s). I felt completely at ease and comfortable with the knowledge that he was being entirely upfront with me about the issues with the car. He left the decision up to me, without pressure of any kind. He simply offered information. There was no patronizing suggestions, no long pregnant pauses because I didn't know what I was talking about or looking at. I was never, at any time, made to feel inadequately informed or clueless and THAT is a tremendous thing!

I lived in Fort Collins for 9 years (until 2001) and was a customer at this shop throughout. They worked on a Mazda truck, a Ford van, and a GMC SUV for me and were WONDERFUL! They were quick, efficient, reasonably priced, reliable, and absolutely trustworthy. I got to know everyone there really well, and look on them as friends as much as mechanics. I recommend them without reservation. I moved out of Colorado last summer and I really miss them!

(1) Local word-of-mouth indicated this shop was the uncontested best MIATA shop in the region. Took mine in for a new timing belt. The mechanic who worked on it did a general inspection while the engine was apart, identified other existing and potential problems, called and discussed pros and cons of fixing them without pressuring me to make a decision. Refreshingly nice and honest person. He did an impeccable job and the engine has performed flawlessly. (2) The lady who runs the office and schedules appointments is absolutely wonderful both on the phone and in person, sincerely cares about the customer. (3) They DO have a ride service. (4) As of the date of this posting they have the ONLY factory-certified Mazda tech in the area [The local Mazda dealership does NOT have a factory-certified tech]. (5) If MazTech sold stock, I'd be an investor!!!

We tend to buy new cars and run them until it's time to send them to the junkyard. Although I do a few repairs in warm weather myself, we've had the chance to use Chuck's services several times. Since I trust shops a bit more than used car lots, it's tough for me to go to any garage. I do trust MazTech. Our last visit was our old Dodge Caravan's last visit too. The transmission was not working well. Chuck knows us well enough to know we could easily afford to replace it and trust him enough to feel fairly OK about doing that in spite of the van's age. Instead, he said it was about to totally fail at any moment and thought it was not worth fixing given the value of the car. BTW, I personally kind of like the location. The fact that it's a bit on the edge of town has been helpful when a vehicle has been a bit flakey. Twice we've used a night drive / drop-off to avoid traffic. Finally, my wife has done over 50% of the interaction on repairs. She's always been treated with respect.

We had our Miata towed past the Miata dealer to use this shop and saved over $1,000. Chuck paid the portion of the tow beyond the Mazda dealer. All of the good things that we heard about the shop are true.
