Burt Lacombe and the team at Firestone has taken care of our car for the last year or so -- mainly routine servicing with some engine and steering problems, and a tire replacement. Very detailed inspections and reports, with good explanation for any work indicated. Always on time. Very fair prices. Located 1 mile north of downtown on the bus route. (and near restaurants). Highly recommended by Mal. 4/09/2007

I was traveling through and needed a wheel alignment. Called them up and they got to work as soon as I arrived. Service was quick. Great friendly and honest feel at this shop.

Very trustworthy, I have used them on tires, suspension, some mechanical for 10 years. They earned my business when at my first visit (four new tires) my credit card was declined ( fraudulent use by someone in Scotland as the same time I was attempting to pay) Not knowing me from Adam, they said "bring us a check when its convenient".

It's mainly my fault. I relied on the Firestone name for quality without fully checking these guys out. There weren't many ( any) non family/non employee reviews on the web. That should have been a warning. First off, thier mark up on parts is 200%. They get parts run in from O'Reilly's. I needed an O2 Sensor. Over the counter (to me) at O'Reilly's its 5o bucks. The Firestone Markup: over $100 bucks for the part. That gives you a clue right there. I told them I wanted an OEM part. If their aftermarket trash hadn't failed in 1 day, I probably would not have known that they subbed it out for a cheap-o part. I took the car to Autozone and they read the code. I told Firestone what the problem was. They insisted that there "better" code reader would do a better job. Guess what? They used an inferior hand held reader to get....wait for it...the exact same results. Then they added $45 to the bill. I'd probably have written the entire episode off as a bad investment if the owner and service writer had met me half way. Nope! deny deny deny. When the car was ( finally) re-repaired I wrote an aknowledgement of receipt on the shop's self serving paperwork. The owner threw it in the trash in front of my eyes. This on the day after Hillary got away with deleting e-mails. I'll never do business with this Hillary joint again and urge others to take car repairs elsewhere. I've no clue about their tire service, but with the AWESOME Discount Tire new in town, I doubt Hillary's Firestone will be around much longer
