Dan Adams bought Car Care 2000 around 1999. The business is now located in Briargate at 2773 Briargate Blvd, their website is now www.carcare2000.com and their phone numbers are 719-219-8124/719-528-1846. They offer loaner cars so you can drop off your car in the morning and go about your business while they work on it. Best of all is their 3 year/36000 mile warranty on their work -- I've only ever had to take advantage of that warranty once and it was due to a faulty part (entirely out of their control but they honored their warranty anyway). My only regret with Car Care 2000 is that they have become so successful, they are no longer open on Saturdays! Despite the slight inconvenience, I would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

"You get what you pay for" - Car Care 2000 is a great auto mechanic... If you are willing to over pay for good service. I was charged $1250 to change a solenoid and a fuel pump. I had just moved to town and I was in a situation where I had to get my car repaired with the first place I brought it to. That unfortunately was Car Care 2000. They charged $124 to hook up a computer to tell me what was wrong with my car ( 5 minute job ) They charged nearly $700 in labor for work that took them 3.5 hours. My car works. The offer loaners and financing... But they charge way more than the convenience they provide. I asked for $75 discount and the owner adamantly refused. In an email to me he stated that he would not make any money on this job if he gave me the discount. $824 in labor for 3.5 hours work. If you have a chance to take it some where else first.. save yourself a ton of money and do that. They do great work for a small fortune.
