These guys are former Saab & VW mechanics who started their own business. They have lots of experience, are highly regarded by their customers and have prices well in line with similar operations in this pricey area. They rebuilt a friend's camper van engine about 14 years ago and it's still running (now, slowly). They are patient, answer all questions and will tell you when you don't need the work.

These guys are very knowledgable and reasonably priced. They are honest, reliable and run a clean shop. They work primarily on Saabs, but I've been bringing them my VW for the last year and would recommend them unconditionally.

I think these guys are the same ones as "Indian Peaks" which also has some reviews and has the same employers. They used to work at Green Mountain Saab/VW in North Boulder, then broke off to form their own company. They have serviced my 92 VW Fox multiple times and often try to find good used parts to save you money. When it came time to buy another car, I wanted to buy a VW so that these guys could work on it (less often than my Fox) - I declined the limited warranty given at the dealership for my 97 Jetta. (My advice, never go to a dealership to have your car serviced!!!) When I walk in, they all know me by name and maybe they treat women the same as men b/c most of the women that go in there know a lot about their cars. Before I buy a car, I take it to them to check it out. B/c I'm a repeat customer, sometimes small service is on the house. Jackson, Mark & Jamie are all competent (they're they only ones I know by name). I highly recommend these guys!

I met Jackson when I broke down in Boulder, he fixed me up for $40 when everyone else quoted me $350 plus. I told him I was travceliing and low on funds so he accomadated me. I have taken my Saab there ever since and wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommended.

I give my highest recommendation to Tod, Jackson and the gang at Indian Peaks. Though I was previously using other mechanics in Boulder on my old Honda, as I soon as I got interested in Saabs I started hearing, "there's only one place in town to have it worked on: Indian Peaks". The word around town was right: these guys are knowledgable, competent, genuine and totally responsive. They did several pre-purchase evaluations for me, for a reasonable price, and their explanations of the specific cars and what to look out for were the most comprehensive I have experienced. (They also steered me away from at least one car I might have purchased and later regretted.) In sum, their service has been superb. So much so that I almost - almost - am looking forward to my warranty's expiration so I can take the car back to Indian Peaks instead of the dealer!

I had my daughter, a student at CU, bring in her Saab to Indian Peaks after going to another shop in Boulder. The first shop wanted $3000 for a tranmission rebuild and that was just the start of it. We went to Indian Peaks for a second opinion and are we glad we did. Some plugs and vaccuum hoses later, the car runs great. No problem with the tranmission at all. They were a great find, and I found them here on the Mechn-X files!!!

These guys are honest, reliable and won't sell you things you don't need. They know Saab's extremely well and I won't take my car anywhere else. Everyone I know that has a Saab recommends them, instead of the local dealership, for service.
