They were efficient and professional. They offered to do a free many-point checkup and found NOTHING wrong to inflate the bill.

Have been taking my Caravan to Dan for 5 years. Very trustworthy. They fix things instead of replace when cost effective and appropriate. My parents and my brother also take their cars there on my reccomendation.

I have been taking my older Honda here for a lot of years and really have had a good experience. I first came for a "second opinion" when the dealership told me I needed a new transmission. When I brought it in, they gave me a list of what I needed (I was on a tight budget) and prioritized everything for me as far as safety issues, etc. My car never needed the transmission afterall. I never felt pressured to buy and instead, they helped me figure out what was important to fix and what could wait.

After having gone through the dealership nightmare, I decided to find a repair shop I felt I could: 1- Establish a working relationship with, 2- would treat me no differently because I am a woman and know very little about cars, 3-KNEW about MY car and how to diagnose and repair it competently, 4- was fairly and reasonably priced, and most importantly 5- one that I could TRUST. After reading CarTalk reviews, I took my PT Cruiser in to Dannick's. I had, what i thought was a small problem, but hey, what do I know... They took my car in, within a short time, called me back and confirmed my problem was small (my ##%%@@**&^% dealer had not tightened the oil filter, and i had a huge oil leak problem) and fixed it for me within the same day. And charged a reasonable price to boot! As the last time I had my car at the dealer, they had given me this very long list of everything that my car needed, I asked Dannick's to do a thorough check. They came back and told me that my car was in great shape, and needed nothing that the dealership was trying to get me to replace. Finally, I have found my honest repair shop!!

I brought our cars to Dannicks on the recommendation of a friend who uses Dan's shop for his fleet of company vehicles. Upon our first meeting, I knew this was the place for me. I consider Dan a friend and as long as he's fixing cars, he'll get my business. One less thing I need to worry about.

Found Dannicks a year or two ago through CarTalk and am grateful for the people who posted reviews and led me to Dan and his crew at Dannicks. Took my BMW to them and never went back to the dealership I used to go to again. They were a lot cheaper, had all the computerized stuff and helped me decide what I could fix within my budget without pressuring me or breaking the bank. I actually approved a large repair and they recommended I think about it overnight so I felt good about my decision! Who does that? They also arranged a car rental for me and took me there. My 1999 BMW runs great and I will continue to tell all my friends about Dannicks Auto Care.
