When I purchased my LS-400 (used) I asked the shop if there was a local garage that I could rely on. He told me Anton's was a good bet even though they specialized in Benz and Porsches. I had used this shop previously, and was glad it was a shop I knew. Anton's has been able to find and fix problems on the Lexus that the two local Lexus dealer's couldn't even find (like a worn upper ball joint that "cracked and popped" occasionally, and the dealer had for a week and STILL couldn't find, Anton's found it and fixed it in 2 days: one day to find the problem and order the part, and the second day to fix and deliver the car). Anton's also saved us from buying a "looked great, but oh so bad" Boxster by finding all the things wrong with it that had been covered up, and found us a great Boxster that cost less that we still have. Anton's provides this service at a reasonable fee (and after what they saved us from, I'd pay it gladly anytime). Anton's is a small shop doing routine repairs. They don't have loaners, but they will provide "ferry service" withing reason. Women get treated the same as men because the Owner's wife runs the office. I believe that they are marque certified for Benz and Porsche. Disclaimer: I am not an employee of Anton's, nor am I related to the owner or any of the mechanics. I am a satisfied customer that has done business with Anton's for 15 years, and am glad to have them as a place I can take my clunkers for service and repairs. Anton's is the best mechanic's shop I have encountered since I was a kid and stood around the potbellied stove in Ed's Garage while they overhauled the tractor in Montana. They find appropriate used parts for my 20 year old Mercedes and even rigged a fix on my transmission that has lasted 2 1/2 years so far. They have checked the "check engine" codes for free numerous times and have always been honest and reliable. People think their hourly rate is high, but they give so much time away it seems kind of a wash to me. They also very seldom have to do things twice. Excellent shop!
