A year ago, my 17 year old son and I were driving by when we saw the sign "Pit Row The Do-It-Yourself Auto Shop". We decided we had to stop and go in. The owner, Dennis Grahovic, showed us around the shop. Dennis and his wife run the business. Dennis is a mechanic. We were very impressed! Tool boxes with hand and air tools, shop tools, equipment for cleaning parts, the Alldata online manuals, and safety equipment. The shop was neat and clean. Recently, the check engine light came on in my husbands VW Jetta Sportwagen. My husband really wanted to be involved in the repair of the vehicle so we stopped by Pit Row. Dennis took the time to come out and look at the VW and then told my husband that he should take the car to the dealer and ask VW to fix the problem for no charge because the problem resulted either from the way it was originally assembled or from subsequent work done at a VW dealership. His opinion was very helpful and saved us time, energy and money. Dennis comes across as very friendly, competent and helpful.
