I had my Honda for 11 years and once I found Precision Auto Repair, I never took it anywhere else. The bad news is I bought a Toyota, and got a new job out of town so I'm not able to use them anymore. I liked the repair shop so much that I almost bought another Honda just so I could keep going there... It would have been my third, and I finally decided I was in a rut and needed a change. For those 11 years, Bob was scrupulously honest, pleasant friendly, and knew how to treat customers. They happily and promptly took me to work when I dropped off my car, and they even have a fleet of loaners. I would recommend Precision Auto Repair to anyone with a Honda in a heartbeat, or maybe a turn of the crankshaft.

After several trips to a local dealer of my vehicle's make to deal with a groaning suspension, Scott isolated the problem as worn inner ball joints on a vehicle with less than 30,000 miles. Strange, but true.

Marko not only can diagnose the problem accurately, he repairs it correctly. I have never had to bring the car back with the same symptoms. And speaking to other customers, everyone agrees he is honest and backs up his work completely. Although I have to drive a distance to go to Marko, it is worth the trip and time knowing the car will be repaired hon

Chuck is the most honest mechanic I've run across. Even when a fuel pump he replaced in my Explorer (Exploder?) failed when I was a thousand miles from home and had to have it replaced again, he fully reimbursed me for the second repair job, though it was no fault of his.

Chuck Kepler has taken care of our family cars for the 30 years we've been in Santa Barbara-- and this has included my MG, my Miata, my Nissan and my wife's Honda. We have followed Chuck through 3 locations over that period, and have found him unfailingly competent in all instances. My wife in particular is greatly impressed that he will patiently and kindly explain things to her in ways that she can understand. After all these years, it gives us great pleasure to recommend Chuck without reservation to anyone desiring an exceptional automotive talent.

I never thought that getting my car worked on could be a pleasurable experience. Chuck was fantastic. Honest. Took time to explain my car and what he was going to do with it. Great prices. I'll never go anywhere else!

Chuck Kepler is the best mechanic I've ever met. He's nice, fair, knowledgable and prompt. You won't regret taking your vehicle to him.

Chuck was very good at explaining the problems with my car clearly and simply, but without condescending in the least. I had taken the car to another shop in the area, which couldn't accurately diagnose the problem and tried to intimidate me into getting expensive and - as it turned out - unnecessary work done right away. Chuck took 20 minutes to figure out exactly what the problem was, quoted me a very fair price, had it done when he said he would, and was kind and courteous throughout. I'll never take my car to anyone else in Santa Barbara!
