The most honest and nicest mechanics I've ever met. That's hard to find these days. The shop owner has an old-school, easy going mentality and will always take the time to explain your car's needs and his recommendations. They seem exceptionally experienced, too. I highly, highly recommend this shop.

Jesus Camarena is incredibly honest, gives you alternatives, knows what he's doing, knows what he cannot do, and does a good job. He's the kind of mechanic that I wish would charge more money. He is not too fast, but is very flexible, a little like having a family member work on the car, except that he's competent.

I live in San Francisco but store my Motorhome in San Jose. I had a fuel pump/carburetor problem very hard to diagnose. Ramiro sent a mechanic over to remove the carb, rebuild and reinstall it. Still had a problem and had to have it towed to their shop. I was delighted that Ramiro was willing to deal with this big vehicle. He quickly found the problem and addressed several other small issues for a reasonable price. I'm in the service/repair business and know how rare it is to find a shop one can trust. I like that the owner is the one you speak with and he does most of the work. I rate the shop excellent and would go back with out hesitation. Great Job!

This is the best car repair shop I have ever used. I don't think you could find a more honest, trustworthy mechanic. Camarena's is a rare find in the automotive repair world!

My experience with this repair facility has been a very pleasant one.The mecahnics there explained in detail the cause and repairs needed on my car. They also treated me as part of the family. All the old parts were saved for me without asking.Their prices are very rerasonable compared to the dealer. They are a diamond in the rough if you ask me.i would recommend this repair facilty to anyone in the area.

I tried this place based on the reviews I read here. I think this is a good shop. The price is reasonable, and the owner was very friendly and took time to explain the problems. They also show me the old parts without having to ask for them. Overall, it was a good experience.

Camarena has worked on my car 3 times over the last few months (for different reasons), and I've been extremely happy with their service. They are not the cheapest, but in my experience with car repair you get what you pay for. They took the time to honestly explain all the work needed, saved the old parts without me having to ask, provided accurate estimates and did the job right the first time. I definitely recommend them!
