Took two cars in today. Civic needed regular maintenance 3years old, 40000 miles. Note - shop is next to a freeway entry and it took 20 minutes to go the last 1/2 mile to their driveway during morning rush hour. Very friendly, seemed knowledgeable. Got a status call within two hours reporting no problems noted, but wanted to change cabin filter, change brake fluid, and flush transmission. Went with the first two, but Honda specifically states no flushing, just change fluid and filter. Shop refused to do anything but flush so told them no. Also closes early, at 5pm, but willing to leave key under the mat for after hours pick up. While we were there noticed they also do smog check. Needed one for other vehicle we were driving so did it on the spot. Quick and painless, competitive price. Last year took my Corolla with 310K miles for quote on struts (they were gone on all four corners). Same guy pushed using the highest quality/priced replacements and didn't really want to consider using good enough quality. Ended up not doing it there.
