I had a disintegrated catalytic converter, with a potato-sized chunk clogging the exhaust system. Easy diagnosis, which they arrived at quickly. The replacement catalytic converter was priced fairly and the repairs were done quickly (and, I think, very competently). The shop owner and staff treated me with respect and genuine warmth, as though I were a long-time customer despite it being my first visit. I learned of this shop from a co-worker who is a long-time customer. His recommendation proved to be solid. I'll definitely use this shop again in the future.

Great Service. Very friendly, respectful and honest. I took my car in for brakes and expected all 4 to be replaced. They could have taken me to the cleaners, but only replaced what was needed (Rear only). Prices seemed very reasonable. Will be back to them for my timing belt next.

It's Porter-Sprague (not Porter-Spruage). Property is for sale. Ed is turning 85 in a few months and plans to retire for real this time. Sacramento (and I) will really miss him and this business.
