For those that it matters to, the owners are Christian. I had an electrical problem with my VW (big surprise there), and originally I had taken it to the dealer. They could not find what was causing the problem, but my mechanic, who does not specialize in VW's sure found it and fixed it. Another problem that two other businesses claimed would cost me several hundred dollars to fix was actually a non-existent problem and my mechanic charged me $12.00 to fix the real minor problem----which is to say that I trust him absolutely completely. When you pick up your car it has been washed and they have given me rides on several occassions to and from the light rail station. I would recommend them to anyone regardless of the make of their car.

Marty and his crew (which includes his wife and son) provide the best auto service I've ever had. They have a modern and clean facility, and their quality of work is first-rate. The service is terrific, too. I'm able to walk from my office to their shop, but one day I left the office late in the day, after a security gate in the path over to their place had been locked for the night. Marty called me and had one of the mechanics drive around the block to my office parking lot to pick me up! Truly a great operation!

The Vanich business is a family-run business with the highest standards of any auto repair garage I have ever used (and there have been many). They are always courteous, honest, friendly, punctual, and obviously hire competent mechanics. Their work is good and repair costs fair. Nearly every time I have taken a car in, it has been fully checked over (brakes, fluid levels, etc.) and I was given a written checklist for my records. The car wash is icing on the cake! Though routine care sometimes books a week out, they have never turned me down for an immediate problem or a "car at college home for one day" check. They have my return business.

Though I responded already, I want to add that the owner's son cheerfully drove me to my door on several occasions when I had to leave my car and had no ride home. Beyond the call.

I have been taking my vehicles to Marty since he moved his shop to its present location in 1994. My first experience was on a Friday when my daughter found out she had a broken lug nut on her car and she was leaving on a trip the next day. I called Marty on the off chance that he could help late Friday. He said bring it over, he worked after hours to fix the problem and completed it by washing the car! I have been taking my vehicles to him ever since and have become a close friend of his family. I have recommended him to several people and they have all thanked me for it and recommended friends of their own. This shop does not advertise because they do not have to. All their business is word of mouth and they had to build a second building on the property to take care of all their business. I have never found a better place to take a car. Also, if Marty does not do the kind of work you need, such as wheel balancing and alinement or transmission repair, he will refer you to a shop that can do the work. If it is a factory warranty problem, he will recommend you take it to the dealer so it won't cost you anything.

This has been a refreshing change in my experiance with auto repair.I don't feel bad after I pay then and leave!! They have done very through prepurchase checks on cars I bought for my daughters, rear brakes on both, and found and and repaired a wireing short on my E150. Plus they usually wash your car.

This shop is highly competent. They have serviced Bmw and Lexus cars for my family. They are totally trustworthy.

A couple of female friends recommended Marty Vanich. I tried it after being disappointed with another garage I had previously used. There was a little miscommunication with the third party explanation of the problem I was having with my car but when Marty called and spoke to me directly he immediately knew what the problem was. He repaired the car in a timely manner and kept the parts to show me what was happening to the car. I would imagine that Marty treats female and male customers equally well. I will certainly use the garage again.

As a female looking for an honest shop, this place is great! It was originally recommended by a friend and now that they've worked on my car a few times, I feel totally comfortable at Marty's and not taken advantage of, which I have so many times before. Another advantage is that they wash my car every time they work on it. Try it, ladies, they are a very fair and honest shop!
