The only auto repair shop designed specifically for women. What a relief. They are extremely honest, and even take you into the shop--underneath your car--to show you exactly what's wrong with it and how they'll fix it. They always give me several options and let me choose the amount of work I want done, and let me know how long parts will last before they need replacing (like tires, brake pads). The waiting room and restroom are also really clean and comfortable. I always leave smiling.

I love the folks at Lady Parts Automotive. I originally went there on recommendation of a friend although they are 45 minutes from my house, and 20 minutes from my work. My first visit there was great, and I decided to start coming to them instead of the dealer for routine maintenance, and I am so glad I did. I took my car in today for routine maintenance and got a quote. I waited, and waited for the dreaded phone call of "We checked things out and you also need A, B, C, and D" which I know is what dealers do, but I don't have enough car knowledge to know what is necessary vs. what is just the dealership up-sell and fear mongering. Today, I received no such call. In fact, I went in to pick my car up, and the total was significantly less than the quote. I was shocked! When I asked why, they said it was because it had taken them less time than expected, and it is their policy not to overcharge their customers. This made my day, and I will keep going back. Plus, I have heard them take the time to explain problems to people - they treat them like humans, explain the problems in understandable terms, and take the time to outline safety needs vs. other needs. A truly great place!

Lady Parts shop widely advertises services that appear to offer a better deal than their competitors - but they fail to deliver on those "extras." For example, they offer tire rotation with an oil change, but when they fail to perform the rotation, first the front desk lies saying that they have rotated the tires. When we showed them that the tires were marked and have obviously not been rotated, they fumble and say, well, I guess they don't need it. Unprofessional, unethical and unacceptable.

I want my surgeon to be knowledgeable, my dentist to be fast and my mechanic to be honest. Unfortunately a garage being run by women does not guarantee honesty or integrity. From manipulating online reviews, to their "Voted #1 Bay Area Garage" award, (where the owner and her staff voted repeatedly for themselves), they do not conduct transparent, fair and honest business practices. They killed our car. Stay away. Can't believe this place has any positive reviews. Went in for a routine oil change/tire rotation, they suggested additional repairs (which were unnecessary), however poor workmanship and sophomoric mechanic mistakes led to problems the car didn't have previously resulting in breaking down on the highway: basically when they replaced a radiator hose, they cracked the radiator which led to the car overheating. We had the car towed to LP, and, a week later, they said it was fixed. Broke down on the way home. Took the car back once again to LP, another week passed when they said they found (and supposedly fixed) other problems that had stemmed from the initial problems they created; however the car is not running OK. After talking with the manager, she admitted they did not know what was wrong with the car, the error codes that the car was generating were not recognized by their computer: bottom line they don't know how to fix the problem they created. To top it off, the people running the business are hard to get a hold of, don't return calls, deny receiving emails or voice messages, and just downright rude. Now the owner is attempting to place the blame of the car problems on us, when it is crystal clear that it was their incompetence that initiated this travesty of errors. Any reputable garage would man up, admit their shortcomings and mistakes and make things right. Stay away. Our car ran perfectly before we took it to LP. After ~$2000 and 3 weeks of 'working on the car time' we have an undrivable, unsellable car.

DON'T GET SUCKED-IN by the "we like girls" front. It's an inferior shop. Lady Parts advertises but fails to deliver. They lure new customers with promises of extras like tire rotation, then fail to perform. When asked, the gal at the front desk lies about it. When shown the evidence of non-performance - she says, "must have not needed it" - (clearly INCORRECT as well as dishonest). Strong reasons to doubt that they actually carry out other functions and repairs for which they have been paid to perform. Seek service elsewhere!
