Bob is a great mechanic! This is a good shop for older cars, he's very experienced.

You are very lucky to have Bob work on your car! He is the funniest, funnest, most reasonable mechanic. Bob works mostly on older cars and is a specialist at finding the most inexpensive way to fix a problem. He is a great "poor man's" mechanic, willing to work with you to get you on the road again! Bob is also a great person to go to when looking to buy an inexpensive used car. Friendly service, great experience!

Selective Service Auto Repair is a one man operation (usually) whose owner and chief mechanic is a bright and friendly guy dedicated to the satisfaction of his clents. Bob loves the challenges presented to him when working on cars and devotes a lot of energy to finding solutions (often innovative and ingenious)to the problems. He is absolutely concientious and ethical in his work and loves to educate his customers as to what is going on, what needs to be done and why. And his fees are more than reasonable. He's sometimes hard to reach at his shop for various reasons: On a test drive; finding parts; picking up one of his kids from school.... But he always answers his messages. Bob is, far and away, the best mechanic I have ever had in my thirty year history of having to deal with auto repair and maintenance.
