They got me in for a clutch job the next day, finished the job within the day, and my car works better than ever. Price was great. Friendy, and did the job exactly as I asked. Thanks to them, by trusty subaru is back on the streets of Tijuana, dodging potholes and bullets. Y tambien, se habla espanol!

The brothers at National Motor Works are honest, budget priced, bilingual(spanish) and very professional. In the span of about 8 years, we have taken our cars to them about 6 or 7 times, and every single time, we have been satisfied and recommended them to family and friends. We own two cars we bought new, a 1996 Saturn SL1 and a 1999 Ford Explorer 5.0., and due to my regular maintenance and the superb job these guys have done, our cars are still running great. My driveway is a testament to this, since we don't have one oil stain, and, most important, we have been car payment free for 6 years! Oswaldo, who runs the front desk, is very easy to speak to: he is very good at describing and illustrating the issues with the used parts and examples. My wife has dropped off her car and handled the whole transaction without feeling misled or taken advantage of. He doesn't try to nickel and dime you in order to do unneeded repairs, however, he does point out any other issues and makes recommendations with no pressure talk or sales pitch. Below is a quick list of repairs these cats have done on our cars. It looks like a lot, but this is over the span of 8 years. 1. Saturn: Tranny filter and oil change, $85 plus tax 2. Explorer: Brakes hard to push, diagnosed bad master cylinder, he directed us to our dealer since the part was still warrantied, no charge!(this made us believers) 3. Explorer, diagnosed electrical problem for no charge. We had him do 100k services for $179, including tranny oil service. 4. Saturn: Front Brake replacement, including rotors $210 5. Explorer: Bad water pump replacement and oil change $275 6. Explorer: Radiator, 4 hoses, air filter replaced : $359 I might have missed a repair or two, but the two major ones are in this list. Seems like we only see these guys about about every other year, yet they remember us when we call over the phone. Not sure what it is about these guys, if it is because they are humble, professional or low key, but they definitely do a great job for an awesome price and leave you with the feeling of trustworthiness and satisfaction.
