They have worked on my toyotas since the early 90's and have always fixed them right the first time. I soon as my cars are off waranty I take to Toyotech for service and repairs.

My daughter took her Honda for service on the alternator, on the way to the shop the transmission started 'bucking'. Toyo Tech diagnosed the problem as a bad transmission, claimed they had looked at the tran fluid and it was not burnt so they recommended a new or used transmission. We had the car towed to another garage where first they charged the battery and then found no problems with the transmission. My daughter was told that when the battery starts dying the computers go into shutdown mode which can cause the transmission to buck. Toyo Tech recommended a used transmission at an estimated cost of $4000 instead the honest garage cost was around $200 for a new alternator. When I talked to the manager at Toyo Tech he claimed he had never heard of this occurring, he said he couldn't refund her $50 diagnosis charge but would give her a free service if she was willing to bring her car back in. No way Toyo Tech will ever touch one of her or my cars again. In the two months since the fix there have been no problems with the transmission.
