I called the owner "Kyo" from Seattle attempting to find a good mechanic for my mother. After describing the problem, he gave me possible causes, and seemed straight forward. I'm going to send my mother his way today.

Other mechanics tell me that i needed another clutch job, but Kyo from Songs Automotive service just adjusted my clutch and it was just fine.

Kyo and the guys at Song's are simply the best. Song's is the closest thing I've ever experienced to a trustworthy, really fantastic neighborhood mechanic. You can go to Kyo with anything -- a tune-up, an oil change, a nail in the tire, a transmission replacement, electrical problems, whatever, they've fixed it all for me. Their work holds up over time, too. I've been going there for 3 years, and everything they've ever done on my Chevy Prizm has held up really well. Just today, I took my car in because there was a nail in the tire, and Kyo insisted on finding a way to clean burnt exhaust fumes off the back of my bumper, which I've been unable to clean off (it's an old car). These guys really do go above and beyond.

Mechanic didn't sound very sure about problems with his analysis providing no assurance of fixing problems. However, the worst part is smoking directly in front of me. Could had at least waited 5 minutes to finish looking at my car.
