We have taken our cars to Jaz at Performance Auto for over 12 years. Jaz is very honest, cares for his customers, he is a real pleasure to deal with. After having bad experiences with other shops in the area I found Performance Auto. If you take your car to Jaz you will be treated right. Tell him Jim Garant recommended him. He was also highly recommended in the La Verne University Campus Newspaper.

I live in TX. After totaling my beautiful Mazda 929 I purchased an Acura RL on eBay from a seller in Arcadia,CA. I needed a mechanic to check the car out, and found Jaz on this web page. When I read what the reviewer had written about him I knew he was the one to ask. And I was RIGHT. The first time I called him out of the blue I felt like I was talking with a friend from childhood trying to help me. As I explained the situation and offered the payment, he kept insisting that I don't pay, unless I buy the car. The next day he inspected the car and pointed out some serous problem in the engine, and told me to stay away from that car. I insisted to pay. But he insisted that he won't take it. I am going to send him a token of appreciation anyway. I had long been thinking that these people had become extinct long time ago. I was wrong. Thank you Jaz.
