Troy is honest, competent, affordable, and a genuinely nice guy. He has worked on all our family's vehicles from VW's, to Suburbans, Saturns and even the motorhome. I now drive 2978 miles from Cutler Ridge FL to El Cajon CA twice yearly to see family - and him. He does all routine maintenance on my Suburban, and is one of the reasons I have a great running 1995 3/4 ton Suburban with more than 170K miles on the 454 engine. He will even do long-distance "hand holding" if I call him with a problem from anywhere in the US. If he finds a problem he can't solve - he knows who to call to figure it out. If he can't fix the problem, he won't take your money - unlike doctors who get paid even if the patient dies!! If he closes his shop, I'll have to walk.

100% trustworthy and reliable. If he doesn't have the ability to fix the problem or is having trouble figuring it out, he will be honest and steer you to someone who can help. We've been taking all the family vehicles to him for years and I recommend him to anyone who'll listen.

I used the same mechanic for over 20 years . When he retired I tried a number of mechanics but was not happy with any of them . A friend recommended I try Bracey's , that was 19 years ago , every thing the other reviews said is true . I would not change mechanics unless Troy was no longer in business .
