I could not be happier with my experience at On Track Automotive. I'm a rather price sensitive consumer and got estimates from several other recommended repair shops before coming in for the first time. These guys not only gave me an awesome price for all of the maintenance work that I needed done on my aging car, but are extremely competent (know exactly how to fix problems that could perplex a less experienced mechanic), gave thorough and clear answers to all of my questions (even the slightly tangential ones), did extra work free of charge (!), and finished in a timely manner. These guys were consistently focused on my best interest and I now enthusiastically recommend them to all of my friends and loved ones who love their cars and their wallets. Thanks, Carolyn

Bob is extremely knowledgable, honest and fun. You just want to give this guy your business. He has repaired our car when we were in a bind with our smog check. He has a great sense of humor about the whole government process. He checks in with us to see if we are ready to have our needed repairs taken care of. He is sensitive to the fact that not all repairs can be done at once if there are budgetary constraints. He nets out what you need to do now, what you can do later, and what you should do now so that you are not paying for redundant work in the future. His personal service is phenomenal. (we are lucky to live in the same neighborhood) I can not believe there are not more surveys completed for his shop. They deserve the compliments. Thanks, J

I've been going On Track for almost 15 years. In all that time I've never had to return a second time for the same problem. This is an experience I have NEVER had at any other shop. Wayne, Bob, Steve and Roberto all take a thorough, conscientious approach to servicing cars. They take the time to analyze your problem so they only have to fix it once. If you've been to a dealer you have probably experienced how they like to just replace one part after another until the problem is fixed. You will not have this happen to you at On Track. I think the key is that all the guys at On Track really love cars and they care about doing the job right, rather than just trying to take as much money as possible from you. If you are looking for a shop where you can just drop off you car and just say "fix whatever's wrong" without worrying about it, On Track is the place to go. They get my highest recommendation. --Andy E.

I brought a 1996 Saturn which was having a number of intermittent problems with starting, stalling, and various warning lights going on. Dan was extremely helpful on the phone. I dropped off the car late one night and left a note in the drop box. I received a call the next day at 8:16am (they open at 7:30am) from Bob to go over the exact problems I had with the car. He was very thoughtful and frank in discussing that the intermittent symptoms would be very hard and potentially expensive to precisely diagnose and that given the actual value of the car, probably not worth it. He offered some thoughts as to why might be wrong, but was clear in saying that it the fixes he was proposing may not fix the problem and were "educated guesses." He did do a quick battery, alternator, and electrical check before calling me, and didn't even charge me anything for the advice and battery check! I ultimately didn't choose to go through any mechanical work with them, but I didn't appreciate the advice and prompt service!

Bob,Wayne,Steve,& Roberto are just nice people. They treat you in the manner of which they would like to be treated. I drive 20 miles just so they can work on our vehicles. My husband and I have found this shop to provide excellent service and diagnosis. The cars are always fixed right the first time, and are ready when promised. We would't think of repairing our cars anywhere else. Thanks Rene Hart

They're great guys, helped me out with a really odd problem, took the time to look at the car with me and explain/discuss the problem and provided the most pertinent solution in a friendly, timely, efficient, and affordable manner. I'll definitely go to them as long as I live in the bay area.

The mechanics and owners at On Track Automotive are knowledgable, friendly, accommodating, and offer good advice when needed. I brought my Hyundai in for break and rotor replacement, and got repeated updates while the car was in their shop. After they fixed it, it ran like a charm. I did trade the car in for a new one (a Mitsubishi), which Bob checked for me, even though it was 15 minutes before closing. I love these guys. Best service I ever got from a repair shop. I highly recommend them.

We've been taking our cars to On Track for 20 years. They've maintained our Hondas, Mazdas, Nissans and Toyotas. We've *never* had problems with any of those cars.
