Cousins, one Italian, one French, both named Jean-Luc, one called Jean, one called Lucky, and half a dozen mechanics, all good. They flirt with the women, I don't know about the men. Not cheap, but a lot cheaper than the dealer, and they diagnose and fix the problem, don't tell you they never heard this complaint before like the dealer does. The mechanics rotate on going to France for Subaru training every few years. Lucky's son is now working in the shop; he started as a teen-age go-fer and has become a very competent general mechanic. I bought second-hand Subarus from them twice, ran one for 11 years until the smog abatement people paid me $1,000 to junk it, am still running the other one. They fixed everything I complained about under the warranty; now it is running very smoothly at all times.

No. No. No. This is a bad mechanic. Unsafe. Unethical. The problems? 1. They replaced the main computer twice in my car, and it never fixed the problem. After about three months and over $9,000 of my money, I fixed it myself sitting on the curb with $12 of parts. 2. The second main computer they sold me was my old main computer. So they resold me my own used part and charged me full price. 3. I told them from day one where to look for the problem, and I didn't think it was a main computer issue. Lucky was completely insulting to me, telling me "I am the mechanic, you're just the lady who drives it. You cannot possibly know more than me." 4. On one occasion left a flashlight under the dashboard, which dropped out behind the gas pedal while I was on the freeway and freezing the gas pedal in place. Nearly caused me to wreck and if I hadn't known to turn off the key and let it coast to a stop, I would be dead. I am not the only person who has had any of these kinds of incidents occur. Please, do not use this mechanic. Not only are they dirty rotten cheats, they are incompetent and dangerous.
