After looking for an honest mechanic for years, I found Hall's through a trusted female friend. He kept my old car alive and safe for many years. Now I take my son's car there and, after an unfortunate incident with the carburator and fire, they got it to pass emissions and on the road again. I have sent other people to Hall's and they have all been satisfied.

I went to Hall's because of the recommendations on this website and they did a great job on my Jetta. I worked with Bob and he took the time to explain things to me. I did not get any of the condesending attitudes I have gotten at other shops because I am a female. They did a great job and have a new customer for life.

I have been coming to Hall's Automotive for a few years now. My friend who is related to the owner referred me to her fathers shop and ever since then I have been bringing my vehicle to them. They are always honest and even give me rides when I need them, I found out that this is a new policy that they began in early 2008. The shop owner/ head technician is the best mechanic I have ever come across and I'm blessed to have him fix my vehicles. He makes me feel safe driving my vehicle after he has fixed it.

We took our older model Toyota to Hall's after hearing grinding noises from the front. They were courteous and thorough, careful to explain the problem, promised a quick fix and delivered on their promise. The price was reasonable (my wife checked the parts costs online when I called her at work). They also shuttled me back home and picked me up when the car was ready. Great service! I definitely recommend them and would not hesitate to bring my car back if it needs any other repairs.

I had them perform a pre-purchase inspection. They told me a bunch of stuff needed to be fixed, and apparently fixed it. However, the engine blew less than a thousand miles after I got the car home, and now (after replacing the engine), the half-axle they rebuilt has failed with just 13k miles on it. Called them up about helping out with re-fixing the half-axle, and the owner's response was "I don't give money away."

I needed a new timing belt on my '99 Subaru Legacy. I had been quoted for $1400 by another shop for a timing belt "package," which was well beyond what I was able to pay. I had also been quoted by two other shops in the realm of $600 for the job. When I got the quote from Hall's, they quoted me at $430, and when they did the work, they completed it in a timely manner. They even found and fixed a fault from the last time the belt had been replaced - the last mechanic to work on the timing belt had installed the belt with one of the camshaft cogs off by a tooth, so half of my engine was mistimed. The car is now running better than it ever has. I'd definitely recommend these guys to anyone, including friends and family, even though they're a bit out of the way.
