Tempe Auto Repair has always been helpful when I've needed repairs. They always call to tell me what they diagnose and the costs of the repairs, and offer a 10% discount for first customers (online coupon). One time I had two problems with my car. One they couldn't fix easily because it would have required the dealer to enter codes into the computer. The other was the O-ring in the fuel system. The dealer quoted me $450, since they would have to take down the fuel tank. Tempe auto quoted me (and charged me) $150, with the same procedure. The final plus - since I was single I did not have someone to take me or pick me up. They always were willing to give me a ride up to work, for no extra charge and with very little waiting. I'm no longer in the area, but they had all my business when I lived in Tempe.

On three different occasions, Tempe Auto Repair fixed the separate problems I had AFTER the dealership didn't. Also, when a dealership improperly repaired a cooling system and the engine thus failed, Tempe Auto Repair was willing to testify on our behalf that the engine failure was not our fault. The folks at Tempe Auto Repair have always been honest and never tried to lead us into additional (unneeded) repairs. Our family has been going to them since 1999 after being ripped off several times by a local chain of auto repair shops. I am not related to these folks, they are not buddies of mine and I don't work for them. Our family is just very satisified customers.

My pontiac firebird has had overheating issues and I brought it here. It was the waterpump amongst other small things wrong with the car. They were very honest about the price and started working on it the day I brought it down to get an estimate done. Also, if you don't have a ride home, they will drive you free of charge which I thought was really spectacular of them. Also I only had a set price of how much I could spend and the front guy Mike said he would do some of the sensors for free since it went over budget. HIGHLY recommended place!

They have serviced my Hyundai, my Subaru, and my husband's Jeep over the past 8 years, and I've always been happy with them.

Needed to get my alternator repaired, before I even got home, they had called me to tell me that the problem was indeed the alternator, how much it would be, how long it would be, they had contacted the 3rd party warranty company, and told me what I had to do to take care of it. They initially offered me a ride, but I already had one. They called me when it was done and were willing to wait until I got there to pick it up (approx 10-15 min after they normally closed). I also had them fix a repair that pep-boys had screwed up. Something involving my water pump fuel thingy. I know absolutely nothing about cars; these guys were awesome. I found them through this site... can't think of what else to say. They rock.

I've had my Toyota serviced there many times but most recently I took my Saab in for service on the air conditioner. I was given a "ball park" estimate of around $100.00 and the repair was actually only about $75.00. It's rare to get anything done for less than an estimate, so I've been happy with them.

The folks at Tempe Auto Repair where incredibly kind and helpful when I was having some car problems! I have a '94 Nissan Pick-up and was driving back from Tucson on probably the hottest day of the year. I was just outside of Phoenix when my car started overheating. I tried to cool it off, coxing it along to the nearest car repair shop I could find (I'm from Idaho and not familiar with Arizona or Phoenix for that matter) when my car truly did break down and wouldn't start anymore. It was later in the day by then and I frantically was searching on my phone for a car shop nearby with relatively good ratings. Tempe Auto Repair popped up and I explained my situation to one of their employees, Kevin. He was very kind and put me through to a local towing company and within half an hour, I was picked up and brought over to Tempe Auto Repair. Even though I arrived there after the garage had closed, Kevin had stayed behind so he could look at my car. I was tired and frustrated and didn't know Tempe well at all, but he helped me find a hotel to stay at overnight and even picked me up the next morning while I waited for them to fix my car. They did a fantastic job- I ended up having to get a new battery, new thermostat, and they replaced three belts. I thought for sure when my old truck didn't start anymore the previous day, that was the end of it. But after Tempe Auto Repair fixed my car, it has been driving great and I didn't have any other problems during the rest of my trip in Arizona! The employees at Tempe Auto Repair were very kind to me and were very knowledgeable as well; they repaired my car quickly and I am very thankful for all of their help!
