We have used this shop for several years for three different vehicles. In early January, I took our Toyota Tundra to the service department of the dealership where it was purchased for diagnostics for a "Check engine" light. The prognosis from them was for $700-plus, to replace an oxygen sensor, new front brakes, and (for a mere $299) a new rearview mirror because the temperature unit was out of calibration. To get a second opinion, I took the Toyota to Turner, where the brake work was performed for 33% less than the dealership service department. Two days later, after not driving the Toyota for a day, the anti-theft system engaged and would not allow me to start the truck. I had a wrecker transport the truck to the dealership, believing that the anti-theft system could be shut off. The determination of the service department was that the negative battery cable was corroded (on a vehicle with 62,000 miles) and would have to be replaced, together with the associated wiring harness, for $475. I had another wrecker pick up the truck from the dealership and take it to Turner Auto. They cleaned the ends of the battery cables, charged me $14, and I drove home. I have since heard of two other cases where older drivers are coaxed into the Toyota service department for $10 oil changes and then given recommendations for an additional $300 and $700 of r

these guys are the best. if only i could clone these guys to where my kids go to school out of state. they are always honest and know what they're doing. always the best price. and they won't do something that doesn't need doing. i have recomended them to folks that have been ripped off by local dealerships and they are always pleased with the service and price.

Can not say enough great things about this shop. Brian and Ondy have a great group of guys working with them. They've worked on 3 different cars (2 Hondas and 1 Acura) for me, everything from routine maintenance to body work and paint. Typically I show up and say Brian something's wrong with my car can you check it out. He always calls me with what's going on and what my options are. Never pressures you to do unnecessary work. My daddy has always trusted Turner Auto with his cars so I knew it was ok for me to go there by myself and know I wasn't being taken to the cleaners. When I bought my new car I actually took by there before I took it home, to show Brian. For the last 4 years I've lived over an hour away from their shop, but not once have I hesitated about driving up (sometimes towing the car) to Sylacauga for them to work on it.
