Great Work In A Timely Fashion. The new ownership down at Aamco of Portland has got it down! I went and saw Peter and Adam when I started having transmission problems in my Ford Escape at a co-worker's recommendation. I was greeted warmly when I dropped my vehicle off, they asked every question conceivable about my problem and even offered to give me a ride home if I would like. They said they would be in touch with answers within 2 hours. Within an hour my phone was ringing with them on the other end. They did not have great news for me, but Adam took his time and explained exactly what was going on with the transmission and did not treat me like a complete moron when I asked what were most likely seemingly obvious questions about my vehicle to him. They offered me a couple of financing options and told me they could have the transmission rebuilt within 2-4 days from start to finish. It was a rather expensive fix, but the vehicle has been good to me so I decided to let them go ahead and fix it. They had given me a ball park quote depending on the extent of the damage inside the transmission and stuck to it to a T, no hidden costs, no games. They were finished in 3 days with it and I picked it up and it works better than it ever has. Completely satisfied with their quality work and now that I know they do complete car care & inspections I will be going to back to them for all my work! Great job guys!!
