A bit expensive and out of the way, but excellent diagnostics of problems, very competent mechanics, generally timely repairs. Terrific communication about issues & work done.

Burnett's Mechanical Service has worked on more than a half dozen of my vehicles over a period of ten years. Some of my vehicles required specific types of service well beyond the abilities of most independent mechanics. These vehicles included Audi V8 Quattros and the Porsche 928. The chief advantage of this shop is the amount of money spent annually on advanced diagnostic and technical training that are paid for for the mechanics. This, plus the constant upgrading of computer systems and software, enable this shop to duplicate ALL of the formerly proprietary services of the franchised dealer. Thus, I have said that the cost of repairs is "kinda sorta", simply because while more expensive than some, the ability to properly diagnose and repair more complex modern vehicles is provided at Burnetts, which makes them among the most elite in this rural area. The only reason that I can afford to drive expensive automobiles is because I have truly competent mechanical services available within a 15 mile commute. The ONLY alternative would be a trip of more than 200 miles to other service that could equal what Burnett does.
