Mike the owner was recommended to me by a supervisor that shares my office. I have a Dodge Neon (read Dodge Crap-on) that he's worked on several times as well as a number of vehicles including a '82 Mercury Marquis station wagon (ask anybody...there's no such vehicle, or so I'm told even though the person who insisted that was looking at it at the time. But that's another story!) Mike has always used me quite well and will go out of his way to save money for you, short of giving you a loan to hire a lawyer to go after the idiots who designed the Dodge Neon. But, again, that's another story...

Very professional and ALWAYS willing to explain/show or walk through what needs to be done or had to be done to get stuff fixed. Just as good service (maybe better) than a dealer w/o the attitude. Highly recommend

Seem a little high priced. I had an old subaru that was leaking a little too much oil and brought it in to see what they could do about it. This was an old beater car that I didn't plan on keeping very much longer but wanted to see if I could squeeze a little more time out of. I told them I didn't want to spend very much on the car. When I came back they had assemblied a list of everything wrong with the car, or that might need to be fixed in the coming months totalling over $1000. Not what I asked for. Also their labor rate is $52.00 an hour. A little high for this area in Maine.

I go to this business for most of my car needs. They have always treated me fairly and are decent to deal with. (The local dealers for Volvo are so expensive I cannot afford their service.) The service people are always willing to explain what is wrong in detail. I highly recommend them for service. All car repairs are too expensive but they try to find ways to save you money. If they are wrong they admit it and it gets fixed.
