Alberto has done 2 tricky repairs for me, a front wheel bearing replacement, and an exhaust manifold gasket replacement. Both repairs are doing very nicely. I don't know how well he deals with women or the mechanically ignorant. He gets my business when I can't fix it, so I know what to ask for. He seems a very honest guy, and has never tried to bill me for unnecessary work. If he does something I dodn't ask for, he tells me about it first, and I OK it. He doesn't seem to cut corners (e.g. he used Locktite on my exhaust studs, even though the book doesn't say it's necessary). Oh, yeah... He thus far has beaten the competition on price, and I usually shop around.

REALLY HONEST- They replaced a part that didnt need replacing- the problem was located later, elsewhere. They swapped the part and gave a full refund. WOW! AND APOLOGIZED. OMG Double WOW. Ususally they get it right the first time. We have been using them for about 5 years.
