We have been taking our cars to Greg for the last 10+ years. We recommend them to all our friends. They are fast, friendly, reliable, and reasonable. They've helped us nurse along old clunkers, and now that we're able to afford new cars, they keep them running smoothly. They seem to handle most makes and models. And they're a block away from the Metro, which makes them really convenient!

This is a very honest and pleasant guy. He will fix it cheaply rather than replace it expensively. Small jobs, like replacing a bulb, are often done for free! I get the impression that Greg gets a kick out of figuring out what is wrong and finding clever ways of fixing it. He was recommended by a friend and now my husband and I recommend him to other friends.

I have been using Greg and Certified Auto for over 20 years. All I can say is that you can't find a more honest and trustworthy shop. Greg is fair and explains all of the available repair options. He well then give you his informed opinion on the best way to proceed. He fully backs all of his work. I have recommended Greg and Certified Auto to family and friends and everyone has agreed with my opinion.

Greg and Steve have worked on my cars for over 20 years, both foreign and domestic. They are highly competent and very sensitive to the high cost of repairs -- always trying to find the least cost way of solving the problem. I trust their word and work implicitly and always leave with a sense that I have been treated fairly and in a friendly manner.

Greg is an extremely honest guy. He's been working on the various cars in my family for over 10 years. He always explains all repair options, cost, etc. Always shows me the old/damaged parts and explains things so that I can understand exactly what is going on. There have been times where he could have done a repair but explained that he felt I could have it done better or cheaper by a different place. I think he really cares about his customers. Highly reccomended.

I had a Honda dealer tell me that the timing belt on my 2000 Accord needed to be replaced at 90,000 miles...but when I took my car to Certified Auto Repairs, Greg looked in the database and showed me that according to the manufacturer, the timing belt on my car did not need to be replaced until 105,000 miles. I appreciated his honesty, and he was not condescending at all, unlike many others in the auto business. I will definitely take my car to him if it ever does need a major service while I am in the D.C. area.

Greg has always been very honest and has very good prices. An example is when all the coolant in my radiator was gone for some reason, I had assumed there was a crack or leak somewhere in the cooling system. He could easily have told me any number of things needed fixing, and I would not have any reason to question this. He pressure tested the radiator and the rest of the cooling system for leaks, found none, and topped off the coolant for me. I never had a problem with it again. He charged me 25 or 30 dollars for this. Another time I had to drop my car off his wife even gave me a ride home so I wouldn't need to walk or take a cab. He also usually gives you a few options at varying prices and tells you the pros and cons of each. I recommend Certified Auto Repair to all my friends and family.

Great team. Great atmosphere. No-nonsense attitude to my money: they don't try to sell me unnecessary stuff or services. I am treated like family, welcome and with affection. I love taking the car there - they are very reasonable all around. Clean shop, clean office, polite and good sense of humor.
