Our 95 Volvo 850 broke down while my 17 yr. old son was driving it about 40 miles from home and it needed a new clutch. Had it towed to this unfamiliar garage -- one of the nearest to the car and 10 miles from I-95 -- based on their web sight. Volvo FWD 850 frequently very expensive for this kind of work. Owner (Brian VanDyke) gave me a very reasonble price on labor. Local supplier part prices can be a bit high all over, and this is usually an expensive repair for a FWD Volvo, but he let me order the OEM clutch kit from an internet supplier at no extra charge for installation and it arrived by FEDEX the next day. That saved me more than $200. Plus, I mentioned that I thought my son and his friends added 4 quarts of oil to the motor when it broke down, causing an overfill(what do they know after a year of auto shop?), and the owner threw in an oil change then and there for free. I didn't expect a lot from a shop that I didn't know and didn't know me, but I was pleased with their competent work and honesty.
