Rob is the MAN! Honest, competant, caring, considerate, I could go on and on. Al is the owner of the place and he is also very nice to work with. They are reasonable, won't rip you off, will drop you off and pick you up when the work is done. My car (an '88 Audi 80) could easily have cost me an arm and a leg to get it repaired elsewhere or at the dealers, but Rob always gives me the straight shot, he's on the level. For example, my car kept smelling like anti freeze, and my windows would fog up and I would have to turn on the heat in the middle of the summer! Rob looked at it and said it was the heater core for the passanger heating system. He said according to the dealer it would cost $1200 and take all day, but Rob said although he would have to get the part from Audi - $300, he would have it done in shorter time than the dealer - hence my cost $900 (estimate). OR he said I could just by pass the heater for the rest of the summer and get it taken care of in the fall. My cost $10!!!! No one in my family has ever gone to a mechanic for any reason and ever had him charge $10. I made history that day. I wish Tom and Ray would send out some type of certificate to all the best mechanics, maybe they do...
