Kurt likes "problems" to solve. If he doesn't think he's solved it, he offers "no charge."

New location at 609 E. main street in Thurmont MD. Stan and David are always very friendly and helpful. I took a vehicle (my 1981 chevy c-10) to them under the impression that my transmission needed rebuilt. In all reality the trans. case had cracked in half. They showed me the prolbem with the truck explained where I could pick up an used case and David rebuilt me a new trans. The repair was a very reasonable cost and didn't take long for the repairs to be complete. as soon as the truck was done and test driven to varify that the vehicle was fixed they called me up explained what they did and how much the bill was. They are open M-F 8-5 closed weekends 301-271-0017 Thank you for everything. CTH.

Kirk works alone in this shop He loves to solve problems. If he can't solve the problem, he'll offer not to charge, even if he's worked on it for a couple of hours. He is polite and easy to talk to. My wife and daughter have had excellent experiences dealing directly with him. He doesn't patronize female customers. He responds promptly to emergencies and will stay past closing if the problem is urgent.
