My Mazda5 blew a radiator hose the day before Christmas, with family and little kids in the car, and we ended up being towed to this garage in Ellicot City. They had the car for 4 or 5 days over Christmas, and ended up doing some very simple repairs. Verry polite on the phone and all seemed well, until I asked for the old parts and a written estimate of the cost. They hedged on the cost and told us that they mistakenly threw the parts away. Long story short they tried to charge us just over $600 to replace two radiator hoses!!!!! This is more than $400 over any of the other estimates I received. When I mentioned that I would give my friends at the MD State Inspector General office a call, they agreed to a total $300 cost, which is still more than any other estimate we received. In short, NEVER even consider going to this dishonest shop. They tried to take advantage of some helpless people on the side of the road with a "screw the helpless guy" tax at 200 percent.
