A couple of years ago, I saw an ad for an oil change of $9.99 and took my vehicles there. While I was there I explained to Mark Armiger (owner) that my air conditioning did not work in my 94 Nissan 4x4 P/U. I had 2 estimates from 2 other shops in the area and they were $700 plus and $800 plus to fix the problem. Mark said to let him take a look just to see. To my surprise, he said he could fix it for about $240.00. I was very leery so he said that he would fix it and if it still did not work, he would charge me only for parts, not labor. I said Okay, that seemed fair to me. Low and behold the air conditioning has worked for 2 years so far since he fixed it. I have been taking both my Nissans to him ever since and have referred a couple of people and they seem very pleased as well. I am so glad I finally found someone I can trust. By the way, he still only charges $9.99 for an oil change and you don't need a coupon anymore. Great place!

I have lived in the area for almost 7 years. Been to many repair shops and this one is by far the best. The owner, Mark, is very honest. He has worked on my Grand Prix twice, first time I expected the worst, and it was only the battery. He easily could have taken me for a ride. Second was time was nothing and didn't even charge me for looking at it. They have worked on my son's car' as well (Mercury Cougar). They explain everything in detail, give good advice and tell us when something is wrong and will say "you don't need to get that fixed now, not critical". Gave me a choice of fixing. I send my female friends to them now, and they are so happy with the service and price. He always calls you back, too! Don't see these kinds of shops anymore. I am also looking for a car. He gives me good advice on the types to stay away from and told me to bring it by to check out (for free!). He treats his customer well. Glad I found him on this website. Thanks Car Talk!

Mark is the most amazing mechanic I have ever met. He has worked on our family cars since they opened. He services/serviced the following cars for us over the past 8 years: 2000 Saturn, 1998 Ford Aerostar, 2004 Mazda MPV, 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis, 1997 Mazda RX7, 2000 & 2003 VW Beetle, 2003 Nissan Xterra and 1995 Ford Escort. Every time, he was honest, timely and well priced. The first car I took to him was the Saturn a few weeks after the warranty expired and the Saturn dealership told me there was $2000 worth of problems with the car and that if I didn't fix it ASAP it would break down with my children and me in it within four weeks. Needless to say, I was worried. I took it straight to Mark, and he looked over the car at no charge and said nothing was wrong with it. Now here we are and the car is 11 years old and with Mark's maintenance it still runs like a charm. Mark really goes above and beyond in all areas. Another example is 2 years ago I broke down in GA and towed my car to a local mechanic down there. Mark spoke with the shop and helped diagnose the problem and help give me an idea of what to do when I received the estimate of what my options were. I would not trust any of my cars or my family's cars to anyone else.
