The shop is owned and operated by two brothers, former Johns Hopkins graduate students, who preferred to own their own business. Besides repairing cars, they also sell affordable, reliable used vehicles, the type that are perfect second cars for high school drivers (also, some affordable used European models). They do work only when it's necessary, and honest? Try this - the first (used) car I bought from them developed an oil-burning issue. They took it back AFTER THE WARRANTY PERIOD because, well, it was the right thing to do. Another good thing: they special in Mercedes, Audi, BMW, and Volvo as well as Japanese imports, so it's a good shop to maintain higher-end cars without the exorbitant costs you usually associate with those makes. If you work nearby, and/or can hop on the light rail, these guys are hard to beat.

When you own an MB it is not a cold machine. The MB is a loved one. Bringing my child gives it a chance to meet with its own kind. The desk guy, a German mechanic named Jung, "Dr. Jung"?, is always honest and courteous. He always lies and when the job is complete. When he says the car is not finished he means that the mechanical is done but the car wash crew is still working with the toothbrushes. The garage is a block from Pennsylvania station so getting a cab, street car, or train is easy. McD's is next door so you can get a Mcmuff and coffee before Atlantic opens.
