I have been taking all my cars their since 1988...To boot I live some 40 miles away from the station now and I still take my car there. Tom the owner, Chris and the rest of the mechanics there, over the years, have always been honest, quality work the 1st time and the occasional mis-hap, they take care of without a problem...I can't rave enough about them...Tim Donovan

Tom Eakle is a great mechanic and great guy. My typical is oil changes every 3k miles. On occasion I will take my Saturn back to the dealership, have them check it over, download all info into the computor and they regularly come back with something, or many things, that need to be updated, replaced, fixed, etc. Always at a premium price. Most recently, I took my car in to the Saturn dealer to get the drivers seat cushion replaced after 235k miles. It was giving me back problems. While there, they recommended that I have a diagnostic performed ($40). They came back with over $1000 worth of work and replacement parts, in additon to the seat ($268). I asked them to not do the work, write it all up (but do the seat) and I took it to Tommy at 40 West Shell. He reviewed their estimate and checked out my car, determined that only 2 out of the 8 were necessary repairs and saved me over $700 by doing the work at a significantly lesser cost than Saturn charges. I wouldn't go anywhere else. - Lee Fitzsimmons

Tom and Jimmy are good, hard-working guys. I really feel that I can trust them to be honest with me. I've been taking my cars to them for years.
