My family has taken all of our cars to Jeff @ Ridgeway for years and years. He is honest and easy to talk to. I have never felt that he or any of the guys at the shop were trying to "take me for a ride". I recommend them to anyone! In fact after I moved away from Catonsville I continued taking my cars to them for easily 10 years. Just recently I found a shop on my side of town who holds the same ethincs and old time service standards. Shops like these are hard to come by.

They have never ripped me off yet and I have been going to them for over 14 years

These guys do the work that you ask them to do, they do it for the price they quote, and they deliver when they say they're going to. I've had front struts replaced and a comprehensive service done, both on a 2002 Honda CR-V. They took the time to give a full diagnostic rundown on my wife's old car at a very reasonable rate, complete with full details on what needed work and why. At no point did they try to upsell me on unnecessary services, pull the wool over my eyes, or give excuses. Ridgeway's my new service garage, and a welcome relief from years of dealing with shops who are looking to inflate their bottom line.

Jeff and crew at Ridgeway are very professional; I feel like I can trust their competency. I have been taking my vehicles to Jeff's shop for 15 years. Always friendly, always honest, I would highly recommend Ridgeway Automotive.

I took my Toyota Corolla to Jeff at Ridgeway late on a friday afternoon to have a belt replaced. It wasn't a big job, but most shops don't want to deal with anything on a friday afternoon. Not only was Jeff willing to fit me in and have the car ready so I could go back to work, he was very friendly and accomodating and offered a very fair price which ended up being less than he originally quoted. The whole staff seemed very competent and professional. And as a side note, Ridgeway Auto had the nicest, cleanest bathroom I've ever seen in an auto shop. That was my first time there, but I'm definitely going to go out of my way to bring my car back there for every repair!

Once my dad came down for a visit and his car stopped working due to an electrical problem. Ridgeway saw him on no notice, worked for several hours on the car, but could not repair it. They did NOT charge us anything and referred us to a specialist (Ridgeway called and got us in the next day) who did fix the problem.

I love Ridgeway. They have fixed my car every time I have had an issue promptly with a fair price. When an issue was just a connection on the battery, they could have easily upsold me and did not. They are honest, fair, prompt, and great mechanics. The only thing I would change is I want them to be open on Saturdays.

My son's Subaru broke down on 95 on he way to Philly. The shop that it was towed to said that the only solution was to replace the engine. I decided to pay about $300 to have the car towed to Ridgeway. They not only fixed the car for free, but they paid for the towing, because they said the breakdown was caused by their mistake. I have been taking all my cars here for well over 20 years and recommend them unconditionally.
