John has an engineering background. He has been in business, servicing Mercedes exlusively, for over 25 years. He is meticulous about repair work and extremely competent. I have observed him virtually build a Mercedes for a customer who had bought a car that had been in a fire and was virtually destroyed. There is almost no wait for parts, as he has a huge, well maintained inventory of parts. Several years ago, he rebuilt two brake calipers for me. A year and a half later, he noted the calipers needed work again. The manufacturer of the lubricant he had used for years changed the formula of the product and the new formulation was corrosive. John went after the manufacturer but repaired the calipers again, free of charge, before there was any possibility of the manufacturer making retribution. He is very alert to potential problems and has kept my '84 300DT in tip-top shape since I first brought it to him eleven years ago. The odometer now indicates the car has travelled 419,000 miles! It's best to make appointments somewhat in advance, as the shop is busy.

I don't think that it's possible to find a better shop for your Mercedes, old or new. John is more passionate about Mercedes than anyone I have ever met, and this is exhibited by the way he meticulously explains every detail of any repair he has made to your auto. If you are fortunate enough to live anywhere close to this shop, then this is where your car will receive the utmost attention.
