Excellent service on Volvo. The shop doesn't look like much but what they save on looks, they invest in quality and honesty. Lenny's approach is to try out the cheaper options first before going for the more expensive ones. He is a good communicator and has a competent team of mechanics. Very strongly recommended.

I had an issue with leaking P/S fluid. Took it to a local Volvo guy who said I needed a new P/S pump, estimated parts/labor $825!!!! No way was I jumping at that quote!! I called Lenny at Peabody Auto Clinic b/c I saw his business listed on cartalk.com. He was skeptical of the diagnoses I was given b/c aparently Volvo P/S pumps aren't akin to failure. I brought it down that same day and he found a faulty hose clamp at the P/S pump body. Total parts & labor $39 !!!! (That's after the %10 discount they offer if you pay cash) In the future I'm making the trip to Peabody, it's well worth it!!

We started taking our volvo wagons to Lenny last century (late nineties). With the exception of our volvo purchase in 1988 (still own this vehicle), this was, and still is, the best automotive decision we have ever made. When it comes to service, knowledge and honesty, Lenny and his crew are the best, bar none. They truly enjoy working with customers who continue to bring in the same vehicle for service year after year. Our "new" volvo is now 20 years old, and still runs like new. Our other volvo is 15 years old, and shows no signs of wearing down.

I took my old Saab 9-5 there for many repairs. He went out of his way to fix things in the least expensive way possible. Lenny is very honest and understands things from the customer's point of view.
