Repair went from an estimate of ~$800 from a recommended mechanic on this site to a little over $100. There was a crankshaft seal leak and Chris Kopec discovered it, but wanted to powerwash the motor first to make sure it wasn't something else. He didn't charge for the powerwash, and when the repair bill came, everything was detailed on a printed (with a computer) bill that stated what was repaired. This was my mother's car. I brought my car in because it was running a little hot, so he filled up the radiator fluid as it was low, didn't charge me. He checked the levels to see if there was any leaks, which there were not. He didn't even charge me for a diagnosis in which there were no issues. Same with testing my AC system in which be believes it is either one of two things, but wouldn't tell me until he had some time to test it further.
